Situated in the village of Treforest near Pontypridd, the Central Guest House is well placed for visits to Wales, whether seeking out the city life of Cardiff or the many historic and cultural delights of Pontypridd and the local area. Close to the University of Glamorgan, the Treforrest campus and Glynntaff campus upper and lower. An invaluable resource for all things local is proprietors John and Denise, both of whom are native to the area and are only too willing to help guests make the most from their time here. A warm Welsh welcome and hearty Welsh breakfast certainly set guests up for memorable stay and the comfortable guest bedrooms keep them coming back for more.

There is plenty to do and see in the area from local landmarks such as the Round house, the Old Bridge, and Castel Coch to an array of shopping, dining and drinks options. Music fans may already know of the rich musical heritage of Pontypridd, as the hometown of Sir Geraint Evans, Stuart Burrows and father and son team Evan and James James who wrote and composed the Welsh National Anthem, but for many people the town's most famous son is Tom Jones who lived just two streets away from the Central Guest House. The University of Glamorgan is close by too, helping to maintain a youthful and vibrant edge to the town.

En-suite rooms are available at Central Guest House in single, double and family options, giving plenty of scope to meet guests' requirements. Prices start from £40 per room per night. Alternatively there are non en-suite rooms, which start from £25 per night and discounts are available for longer term stays. Guests are welcome to use the guest lounge where there is free tea and coffee and the Central Guest House has secure parking with a free pick up service from Treforest station for those arriving by train.
